| What is Reality | ||||||||||||
Thoughts I've thunk while sippin' at a cup of tea and reading something provoking, often get dropped here for the benefit of humanity and my own hubris.

Ran across the following poem by Bashô— At the ancient pond The job of the poet is to turn reality on its head, and here the “accepted norm” of cause and effect is reverse. Here “the frog plunges into the sound” … not “the sound is created by the frog plunging into the water.” Reality is just persception. Thought originally posted on Wednesday, 10 July 2002
