Thoughts I've thunk while sippin' at a cup of tea and reading something provoking, often get dropped here for the benefit of humanity and my own hubris.

Pig Makes New Friends
Once upon a time, in a forest far away, there lived a pig who was painfully shy, and because of this affliction, the pig had no friends. Oh how he wished to not be so shy, but he was somewhat embarrassed at being a pig. “What a bore it must be to be me,” he often said to himself as he looked for food at the edge of the woods. He was quite sure that if could somehow be stronger, smarter, or better-looking, then he would have the confidence to make some new friends… and then, he wouldn’t be so lonely. The Crazy Tea Party
There once was a little girl named Flower who decided to have a tea party. Since she had four tea cups, she thought she would invite 3 friends over. She went over to her toy box to decide. “I must invite Mr. Honeybear,” she said as she picked up the brown teddy bear, “for he always tells such great jokes.” She put the bear in front of the yellow tea cup and went back to the toybox. “Oh, and I must invite Mrs. Piggleywiggley, for she always a good one with the stories,” she said. She put the pink pig with the flowered hat in front of the pink tea cup and tried to think who else should come. MORE...Posted on April 16, 2005
The Doll's Adventure
Once there was a little girl who was playing with her doll in the backyard. She had gathered a lot of little sticks to make a house, but the house kept falling, so she decided to make a little nest instead. Just when she was thinking of pretending she would be a bird and her doll would be a baby bird, the little girl’s mother called to her to see if she wanted to go for a walk. She hastily put the doll in her backpack and went for a walk, but while on the walk, the little girl started skipping, and the doll bounced out of the backpack and fell behind a bush. The Missing Slipper
Once upon a time, there was a Daddy, who after climbing into bed, fell asleep. As soon as the walls started to rumble with every intake of breath, one of his slippers on the floor said to the other slipper, “I can’t stand it anymore.” “Every night it is the same,” he continued. “we listen to him snore. Then in the morning, he shoves his feet up our tailpipe and walks on us. The only break is when he leaves for work. I’ve had it, I’m leaving. Are you coming with me?” MORE...Posted on November 12, 2004
Small As a Mouse
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was playing with her dollhouse. As she peer inside through the window, she could see the teeny tiny sofa in the living room, and the teeny tiny refrigerator in the kitchen and the teeny tiny bed in the upstairs bedroom. The Fairy and the Stories
Once upon a time, there was a little girl whose aunt gave her a present of some sunglasses.
